Warwick Woman Charged with Running Down Officer

Tammy Vicino is facing serious felony charge after a police officer was hit by her car, therefore making it an assault with a dangerous weapon. The charge carries up to twenty years in jail if there are serious bodily injuries – See Rhode Island General Law 11-5-2. Based on the reports by the Warwick Police Department, this defendant could also get charged with obstruction, disorderly conduct, leaving the scene, bodily injury, eluding and other charges.
